Founded in 2010, Leaside League was designed to help kids learn a love of volleyball through a fun and educational experience. This program runs once per week for 1.5 hours, on Sundays, and is intended for athletes, both male and female, aged 8-18 years.
Program Structure
- Skill Development -
- Game Play -
- Championship Tournament -
At the start of each session, athletes are divided into teams.
Each week, the teams work for the first half of their session on individual skill development. Then, for the second half of the session, the teams engage in some friendly competition, playing matches against other teams in their division and meeting some new faces across the net. Coaches continue to work with the athletes during this time on their individual skills as well as their positional training.
On the final Sunday, teams participate in a
"League Championship Tournament"
As our athletes will attest, this is a League all-time favourite and a wonderful finish to the session!
