Our Story

​Leaside Volleyball Club was founded in 2008 by John Child,
3-time Olympian and Olympic Bronze Medalist in Beach Volleyball.  
Following what was an amazing 15-year career in professional beach volleyball,  John founded
​Leaside Volleyball Club with the intention to share his deep love of the sport with our next generation of  young athletes.  
Today, Leaside Volleyball Club is regarded as one of the top volleyball clubs in the country, offering  programming to youth athletes of all ages and skill levels.
